Hotel Steffani, in the center of St Moritz-Dorf on the Sonnenplatz, just a block downhill from Plazza da Scoula (Schulhausplatz), is a Best Western hotel that especially welcomes travelers from the USA and Canada, but indeed has an international clientele. Open all year, this 59-room (and 5 suite) hotel offers excellent lake-and-mountain views from the balconies of its south-side rooms (shown in the photo to the right), and good views from many of its other rooms. Its Lapin Bleu Restaurant, serving Swiss and Italian dishes (despite its French name), is a good moderate-price choice for lunch or dinner. Le Mandarin can assuage your yearning for Chinese cuisine.
